Certain Reflections for the day...:-)

This is what I always tend to live on. If suffering were to lead to more suffering and pain then we'd all be etched in each other's reflections. We may have characteristics that may make us like our parents, siblings, friends etc but at the end of the day we are also 'ourselves'. We can be kind and caring when somebody's been hard upon us. We may not want to give anybody elsa the kind of pain we have seen. We may become more kind, resilient ,supportive or loving. Hence, an abusive father does not define his daughter, an addict friend has no bearing on his other sober friend, a violent murderer never gives off tainted off spring.

Yesss! Hi-five to being different! :-D
I love this and I love what different cultures and values can teach us! I think we should never consider ourselves above a foreign idea of a tribe or population, no matter how obsolete or minute.

Okay, this just cracked me up! So often we wish for things we don't have and seldom appreciate what we do.

I accept that loving anybody unconditionally is the hardest thing possible, especially when that love isn't reciprocated. But I think when you are really in love, you should give it everything you've got. A half hearted relationship for fear of losing is not worth it, in my opinion. :-)
